When performing a front end alignment, we always check camber, caster, toe-in, steering radius and axle squareness. We the make adjustments as needed to align vehicle to specifications.
A complete suspension check is given before alignment begins. We check king pins, spring pins, tie rod ends, draglink, steering gear & steering u-joints for wear. Tire height and condition are also checked.
Customer will be contacted immediately and given an estimate of repairs (if needed) before an alignment is performed.
The most common parts that show wear first on truck and bus front suspension systems are the tie rod ends and draglinks.
